Good quality brake pads - misleading on the shipping
would give this a 5 of 5 rating other than I was charged separate shipping for each pads. I wouldn't have had an issue if they were in fact shipped separately, but they arrived in the same box. It should have cost me over $20 for ground shipping.

I have used the Discitalia 6000 pads on two cars and a truck. They are a terrific value as they are mid-priced but offer exceptional stopping power. No brake dust is evident and they last longer than other brands I've used. There is no reason to spend more because I couldn't get a better product.

Improved performance at a great price
I purchased a set of Discitalia rear pads to replace the factory pads on my 2012 F-150. Although I have only put 1000 miles on them I have towed a 21' bass boat for 250 miles and I can say that the performance is noticeably improved over the stock pads. I will be buying these to replace the front pads as well, I highly recommend these if you are looking for an improvement over factory installed brake pads.

Improvement over OEM brakes
I upgraded my break rotors(Discitalia slotted) and pads(Discitalia 6000 ) from the stock Lexus hardware. I immediately noticed the increased stopping power and the brakes did not fade over long down hill drives like the stock brakes. The only negative which was expected is the amount of brake dust has increased and the brake pads wear down substantially quicker than the stock pads. However the increased braking performance is well worth the increased maintenance cost to replace the pads.

I heard great things about these brakes and was looking forward to installing them. Very disappointment in how noisy they are. I installed them over a month ago and they still squeak. I even had a mechanic check to make sure I installed them correctly.

My 2nd set! I replaced all 4 wheels back around 60k, now have 103k on my Scion xB. I was amazed with how much pad was still left on the pads I was replacing--at least another 15k I would say. I also replaced all rotors but went with smooth (rather than slotted and drilled) this time do to cost factor. I probably didn't need to replace the rotors either but better safe than sorry. Just did the break in for the new pads and they are great. I do a good deal of mountain driving too, and Harley tow.

I ordered these on a recommendation of a friend. Installed them front and back. Installation was pretty simple, they fit just like the OEM pads. The break in coating on the pads actually helped clean up the rotors a bit. I got about two weeks on the pads now and they actually stop the truck better than the OEM pads. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!

With the new Discitalia rotors and these pads, my Equinox stops like a dream with zero brake fade. Not put you through the windshield stopping like the yellow pads, but a great upgrade from OEM. Seem to run pretty clean too after the initial break-in, even on chrome wheels.

first tried the Discitalia pads on my motorcycle, and loved em. When i needed new pads for the Jeep, i knew who to go with. Not only are these the best looking pads on the market but they perform the best as well. 20x more grip than the ceramic pads i had on before. plus they come with the noise reduction grease and shims. win.

1996 Chrysler T&C mini van
Ordered Discitalia brake pads and a pair of StopTech slotted rotors. Shipping was free and installation is easy with regular hand tools. Love the feel of the brakes with Discitalia pads. Don't have to use as much brake pressure as before and have much more braking power. I have Discitalia pads on my 92 Toyota and love them on that rig also. I would definitely recommend these pads for any vehicle. Used stock rotors on truck but had to replace warped rotors on van, warped when bought it.

These pads are a big step up from typical aftermarket pads. These pads stop my 2007 Acadia far better than the last set of aftermarket pads, and even better than the original OEM pads. Great , I'll be using them on all my vehicles from now on. Only one thing stopped me from giving a complete 5 star rating; the stainless steel brake pad retaining clips / slides do not come with the pads, which required a trip to my local auto parts store.

When to Discitalia after having other aftermarket pads for about 9 months. The are far superior, broke in very fast (on new disks), and so far have very little dust. Thinking of using more Discitalia pads on another car soon. Brakeworld was great about getting me the pads and disks quickly.

pads are one of the top best five things you can do
well I broke down and bought higher end pads for my 2000 tundra limited. after 120k and three sets of rotors the originals were looking thin. along with ultimax slotted rotors the difference is obvious. less pedal pressure and better modulation = more control. Of course good time to go synthetic brake fluid and always bleed.

This is my second set of Discitalia pads, 65K on the first set. These pads are top quality. Easy to install because they are just like OEM pads plus they come with anti squeal shims. They produce less brake dust than the OEM pads and they don't fade as quickly. Get a set of these pads and you will feel the difference.

Great brakes even on a stock system
Applied these bad boys to a totally stock braking system in an Acura TSX. Installation was difficult as I had to use the old clips. Stopped the squeaking and will be buying rears soon. Thanks

Replaced my original pads with these and man it feels great. My 2012 Ram 1500 now feels like it has better braking than the day I bought it brand new. Highly recommend them. Just remember to properly break them in

A British Racing MGB required needs " " to stop

Bought these for my Camaro 2014 2LT RS and they are perfect. The break in period was perfect, no longer squeaking, and I can definitely feel the higher quality in the grip of the pads just touching the breaks lightly. I would highly recommend.

I always said I would buy these, but always opted for cheaper pads (especially for a truck). The quality was better and they were easy to install. My truck now seems to stop smoother and quieter than with other pads. The brake dust is even less. From now on, Discitalia for everything!

Better then the ultimax pads
Had a problem installing my Discitalia ultimax pads due to the clip coming off upon installation. I waiting 2 weeks to hear back from this company to get a refund so I ordered this Discitalia pads. Much better quality and alot more stopping power. Bad customer service.

A must for improved brakinging!
I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler 4 door with 35 in tires. I upgraded to a nice set of drilled n slotted rotors with ceramic pads. It didn't stop well! First I put the Discitalia in the front n omg what difference. Then I put them in the back. My truck stops on a dime like a car now! Discitalia are amazing I just hope I'll get decent mileage before replacing them with the same! Must buy!

Flashy doesn't mean Ricey
When pads like this inspire confidence on the first stop, they're bound to be good stop after stop. I've had them on for about 100 miles doing some heavier braking along with the light around town. Let me say, they are quite confidence inspiring, I cannot wait until I am able to put my foot into them on some back roads. These are paired with stoptech slotted rotors and centric blanks in the back definitely eliminated the brake shimmy I used to have.

Easy install, great stopping power
These guys went in easy and made a huge improvement over stock pads. Makes me want to upgrade the rotors, but the stopping power is greatly improved. Not to mention, they just look cool too!

Didn't know what to do for my poor stopping power on my Caravan till I read reviews on these brakes. They must give me 20% better stopping power! And that is just a set of pads on the front. When the rears wear out I will put Discitalia their also!

2012 expedition brake job
The brake installation was pretty easy. The outboard pads will physically fit on the inboard but not vice versa. So I had to dis-assemble a completed passenger side when I could not make the driver side work, AGAIN MY APOLOGY IF THE INSTRUCTIONS SAID THIS ALREADY AS I TYPICALLY THROW THEM AWAY. The break in instructions were very clear and i hope they outlast the Ford pads that faded at 37000 miles. I have heard great reviews on Discitalia products

These brake pads work great. I have about 200 miles on the now and I drive in heavy trafic in the LA aera. They stop better than my OEM pads and I feel them digging into my rotors stopping me on a dime. The pads don't squeak at all even during the break-in period. Spending a couple of extra bucks is worth the investment in these pads.

These pads should come stock on a Honda Fit. They have a great initial bite. With the stock pads, the weight of your foot on the brake pedal doesn't hold the car at a traffic light. The stock pads fade easily and don't have a good initial bite. You find yourself applying extra effort and in turn they're marginal at best and eventually fade. The Discitalia brake pads stop on a dime and don't fade. They're probably the most aggressive pad that would complement the tiny rotors on a Honda Fit.

Discitalia Brake Pads on Subaru Outback
Just installed front pads and Discitalia sport rotors on our 2009 Subaru Outback. There is a definite increase in braking power with these. Haven't been on long enough to tell if they dust the wheels much but I'd trade dust for the performance these offer any day. Highly recommended!

Spirited Commuter - Daily Driver

4th set of Discitalia pads
I have used these pads on my 09 Honda Fit since 2010. Much better brake feel, no fade, very little noise. A bit more brake dust than stock but I feel that is a fair trade off for the confidence they instill.

Good brakes but still lots of dust
I have only put about 500 miles on the brakes. Which is the break in period. But I seem to have a lot of brake dust. I am hoping it is from the break in coating. Overall pedal feel is great!

They Stop better than stock pads, but they dust a lot
Installation was straight forward. I like that lube is included with the pads. I also like that there appears to be a coating on the pads that looks like it is supposed to scuff the rotors up some to hopefully remove any small ridges that may have built up. The rotors also stop well. I'd say a little better than the stock pads. The one draw back is that they do give off a lot of dust. Within ~100 miles of mixed driving you can see dust on freshly cleaned rims. At 300-400 miles lots of dust

These are the best brake pads I have ever used on any of my vehicles. They are the only brkae pad that as not make any semblence of noise on my 09 Jeep Commander - other squeaked and squealed from installation to change. I had heard about the Discitalia pads, but always thought they could not be as good as the hype. They are.

I love these pads. Very low dust compared to other pads I've had (particularly OEM) and have a nice 'bite' to them, which I appreciate considering the mass of the truck I'm currently driving. I've become such a believer that they've been on all of my cars for the last 10 years now, from muscle cars to suvs. Due to warping on OEM rotors, I've used Discitalia rotors as well and absolutely love them. Fit and finish on rotors and pads have always been perfect and I plan on being a customer for a long time.

Break-In time not as much stopping power but after the break-in coating wore off way more grip. Combined with StopTech rotors these are great pads for a compact car, direct fit on Suzuki SX4 sedan/wagon. Will install same for the rear.

I installed these pads on slotted/drilled rotors and they are the perfect combination. The aftermarket rotors I have came with worthless squealing pads. The Discitalia pads deliver better stopping power, grip and you can't even hear the air noise associated with slotted/drilled rotors. The break in procedure is easy enough to follow too. I will never purchase any other pad for any of my vehicles.

Easy to install, fit perfectly to replace OEM pads. Much smoother, quieter, and produces much less dust. Been bedding these in for a few hundred miles and they provide great stopping power now without being too strong. Had a very good experience with both the company and the brakes. They were shipped quickly, packed well and came complete with grease and shims so I didn't have to purchase anything else. This is my first and certainly not my last set of Discitalia pads. I put the 6000 series pads along with brembo rotors ( not the slotted and drilled ones ) on my 2005 Tacoma. No noise whatsoever. It improved braking, not sure by how many feet. When you stab the pedal the front drops instantly. No darting or pull total control. * Warning will pull your face off under hard braking.

I have a Mazda CX-9 and these pads are great so far. Had them on for a couple weeks. My wife drives the car mainly and says she likes them. Installed easy in about an hour and a half for all four. Backs took about ten minutes a piece.

Kept my front stock rotors and had them machined, and no problems. The Discitalia have better braking than the stock Honda pads. Some dusting, more than the stock. I've only driven about 100 miles, and hope the dusting lessens as they claim it should. Assuming the dusting becomes low as they advertise, I will install a set of these on the rear also.

Better bite than the reds or yellows at the lower temperatures. Great pads for a daily driver. My only negative was that the pad shims (anti-noise shims) were not included. I've purchased Discitalia pads before and they are always included.

Excellent upgrade from OEM
I bought and installed 4ea pads and 4ea Hawk Sector 27 rotors on my wife's Lexus SC300. After 300 miles and completing the bedding-in process per Discitalia directions the braking performance is considerably improved. There is still a little brake dust collecting on the wheels but much less than when new. I think it is the scorching material that initially leaves dust. Very happy with the product and with Brakeworld.

Seems to be significant upgrade to stopping power over stock. Only complaint I could say is I wish you could pick colors for different pad composition i.e. compound but red paint on pads. I know it's how they designate their pads but, this could factor to some people.

Discitalia on my 2012 Acura TL
Still in break in period. Usual daily drive is 5-10miles daily. Feels a bit rough especially when it's about to come to full stop. It's really grippy though the noise/ vibration when you are about to stop kinda bothers me. Hopefully they will disappear after the breakin period and done with post-break in final seating.

This is the third set of . First time on the rears. Nice to have the same type and quality for front and rear. They do any outstanding job stopping my F-150. Used is conjunction with cross-drilled and slotted rotors it makes the F-150 stop like a Porsche. They a little quicker than I would like, but the ability to stop a pickup is far more important. They will be on this truck for life.

This is my second pair of Discitalia Pads installed on a 2006 Acura TSX. I used the matching Discitalia slotted rotors and I will admit stopping power is amazing on these. The hotter they get the tighter they grip and stop the car. In extremely cold weather they seem to not stop well for the first one or two stops but after that they are fine. Brake dust is excessive especially when you first install them. My first set lasted about 28k miles with HARD braking.

First time brake upgrade on my truck
I have used Discitalia pads on my motorcycle over the years and loved them. So when the time came to do brakes on my Nissan Frontier it was a no brainer to take a look at Discitalia. I very happy I went with these pads over going with stock or another brand. I don't have a lot of miles on the pads yet but so far they have improved brake feel, cut down on stopping distance, quite and smooth. Will recommend these pads and when the time comes to do brakes on my other car these will be bought again.

I Bought Brake Pads for a 06 Grand Vitara. When I went to install them I found that they were not identical to the original pads. Pads were missing groove and could not be installed. For the money they charge for these pads, there not even close on the fit. If this is the quality of Discitalia I'll definetly stay away from there products. No for me don't beleave the hype

Bought these front and rear pads along with Discitalia Sport Slotted Rotors (USR7106). Got a good price on the order and love the install. The pads bedded in nicely, no squeals, great stopping power, no issues whatsoever. Dust is low--will see how they compare to ceramic over some more time. Tested with a 60mph-20mph hit--worked very well.

I have a 99 4Runner SR5 with the larger 16" wheels. When I bought my runner it already had warped rotors so I decided to nab some of these and a set of Discitalia slotted rotors. This combo is simply awesome I can now stop with confidence. The downfalls of these pads is that their true stopping power is achieved when the pads have come to temperature. They also expel a good amount of dust, although I don't want wash my truck regularly so if you do you may not notice as much. Overall I am very happy.

They are great brakes. I have them also, on my Honda S2000 and both of my sportbikes. When you want to stop fast-they will do the job very well. I would recommend that one also replace the brake discs to a higher quality type to get the most out of your Discitalia pads. I went with the for my 2000 Honda CRV, because they are alot better than stock, without being to much over the top for an older crv.

Great breaks but make noise
SO the brakes work great car stops on a dime but they keep squeaking. I emailed Discitalia they said give it 1000 + miles to stop. Im at 3500 now and still having the problem. I emailed Discitalia again and with no problems they shipped a brand new set and didn't ask for old ones. I have not put them on yet, im going to wait till i can afford the Discitalia sport rotors. The ones on car are stock but only had 5000 miles on the. (Car is brand new)

I've had these pads installed for a couple of weeks now, and the stopping power of these are very noticeable over the stock units. These have excellent modulation and have performed well while towing. I will buy these again.

I had these installed along with new stock rotors,and have enjoyed the more confident braking. They had made a lot of noise until bedded in (following Discitalia directions)but have quieted quite nicely. I was never happy with the feel of the brakes since the truck was brand new and have been looking for a better feel. I have found it with these brake pads.

Quality replacement Brake pads
Easy to replace all four disk brake pads. The initial surface coating has some noise at the end of the braking distance but it claimed normal. Wait until we finished the break-in period. Else, it looks good, quality parts made in England.

Looking for balance, no dust
Got very nice brake control and power. Brembo 13" on all around, with the "s", does get job done! Happy about this, would liked to have greater reduction of dust. Much better than stock pads, but reaching the high end of dollars spent to stop even higher performance Street cars.

These work just as good as factory brakes but MAN... they create more dust than any other brake pad I've ever bought. After one day of driving (100) miles, you see a layer of dust on your rims. The worst.

My OEM pads were worn, the disc was in very good condition. Pulled the worn pads, sprayed brake cleaner on the disc and installed the new pads with no problems. They slipped right into place. It took more time to lift the truck and take the front wheels off than it took to change out the pads. I am happy with the stopping power and will plan to continue to use these pads on my Tacoma.

Pads on a 2007 Honda Pilot
The pads are really nice, it is actually a pad kit, complete with self adhesive backers and grease packet. The items reek of quality, and the installation was a snap! I will definitely be buying these again. Still in break in period, so can't say I notice a huge difference in stopping power....yet.

Best brakes on the market!
I have always replaced my brake pads and shoes whenever they wore out over the past 40+ years. I have seen many changes in the material of the pads and how they wear. It has been my pleasure to use Discitalia products for my break needs. The material wears evenly, which helps to cut down on the number of rotor turns you need. And the material is obviously ecologically much safer then the asbestos laden pads and shoes that we used to use. Discitalia is the best in quality and all around durability.

My 2013 base Tacoma had stop tech slotted rotors with Hawk LTS pads. My 2015 stops better with the stock rotors and these pads. I have 235 55R18 performance tires and my brakes can now active the ABS on good dry pavement all the time. It is nice to be limited bt the tire traction instead of the brakes.

I Wanted something that would give my Wife the best performance! Safety, quiet And Faster stops! My life is in that SUV. It doesn't matter if it's raining or dry out, it has better bite! They do make a little more brake dust but with the performance gains, makes it worth it!

Pricey but excellent brake pad!
These pads are excellent. Including the original OEM's, this is the third set on my truck and they are the best by far. Smooth, no noise, little dust, and excellent bite. Definitely seems to have improved overall stopping distance compared to previous sets. Only downside is the expense but I'm glad I spent the extra $$.

Great Pads... Worth the few extra dollars
I bought these pads for my 2007 Dodge ram 1500 It has a small lift with 35" mud terrains and I love the extra stopping power over the poem pads. I have had no noise, lower dust and better response when trailering my boat. I love them these pads will go on all my vehicles.

I had these brake pads on a Mustang I owned, and new they were good. I got them for my Tacoma and installation was a breeze. It took longer to jack up the truck and put on jack stands than to install. Now I stop on a dime and have good feel when braking. I will be getting these again when this set needs replaced.

Sales guy recommended these for my 02 Mustang. They look good. Barely fit on install.they have squealed and squeaked for 500 miles so far. The worst product I ever had for noise.I can't wait to take them off and send them back.

Have less than 200 miles on the Discitalia pads and new Discitalia ultamax rotors. Installation was straight forward and easy. Since they are in the break in period, you're supposed to drive it very easy. The brakes actually feel way better now than the Centrix Posi-quiet brakes and rotors they replaced. They are quiet, brake dust(black) is not too bad. I am happy with the quality and performance so far.

I purchased these to replace the oem ceramic pads that were warping the rotors. I also bought upgraded slotted rotors. after 700 miles no sign of warping, but these pads have a high dust rate and my rims are coated. we will see how long the pad actually lasts. my initial opinion is they are overpriced semi metallic pads.

I replaced my Xterra with four new Centric rotors and these Discitalia pads. Because I also replaced the pads, its tough to be able to judge on the pads alone. The pads have set in with the rotors now and the Xterra as incredible bite. The pads during in the set in process gersvery dusty, so just expect it. I haven't washed my wheels yet, but I imagine the brake dust decreasing once completely broken in with the rotors. It was a good investment. Stops the car like never before.

Upgraded to Discitalia pads and Discitalia rotors. Had some initial dust during breaking-in. Installation was a easy. The performance in improved braking is well worth the money and doing the upgrade. I've experienced no noise rom the new rotors.

When I first ordered brakes from another site the sent me red with my brakes free. The red was wrong for my far so when I rendered from this website a I got my rotors but no brake pads I was angry that I had to pay another $69.00 for the pads so I spent close to 300 for brakes and rotors. I'm happy with the way they look and stop my car in an instant. But make sure if you order them double check to see if brake pads are included.

Stopping power is great , installation was like any other brake pad. But the dust is awfull, wheels turn black in a few days. If I had the time I would try to return these for something with less dust, but the stopping power on these pads is great, so I guess that might be the trade off between low dust. I think they are over priced considering how much they do dust . Also not impressed how the break in compound on the pads score up the new expensive rotors and make them look beat up.

Stopping power is slight improvement over stock pads. I agree with the reviews that these pads produce way more dust than stock. I have had to clean my wheels weekly now so that they are not totally black. I never had this amount with stock pads. Otherwise, I am satisfied.

I love these brake pads. The OE ceramic pads on my 4Runner would always leave me feeling like I wouldn't stop in time. I tried these on my truck about 8 years ago and have used them ever since! The braking distance is night and day - now I have confidence when I need to make a quick stop. Pads come with shims and caliper grease too.

Discitalia brake pads for 2012 Honda Odyssey
Overall, very happy withe the pads. Installation was simple. They have a nice bite to them and no squeaking. My only complaint at the moment is brake dust. I didnt expect as much dust as i am seeing at the moment. Maybe it's because they are only a couple weeks old? Overall very happy.

Title says it all, except for DUST, DUST, DUST, my chrome wheels look like the front wheels of a 90 beemer, remember how black those cars wheels were, well, mine are the same after 1-2 days of driving. Would I do it again, not sure yet, but hot dang these things can stop this big truck, and that is what I was after.

I have over 200,000 miles on " Old Betsy" I am faithful to her always installing the best products available. I have changed many brake pads and these are the first ones that have squeaked. My friend installed "Yellow" brake pads and they did the same thing. I am extremely disappointed and I am about to contact Discitalia if this continues.

great improvement over stock
This is my second set of pads for my Toyota Tacoma. I use them along with Discitalia slotted and dimpled rotors and they work extremely well even until the end of their life. I even race rallycross 4 times a year and they have never under performed. Brake performance is noticeably better than the stock setup.

I'm very satisfied with my purchased. These Discitalia pads are the best, I have about 80% more stopping power. I highly recommend these Discitalia pads. I will continue making purchases in the future.

Excellent initial bite for 2009 Jetta
These pads have more initial bite than the OE pads or any other pad I've ever tried, including those in other vehicles. Getting full braking force fast makes the car stop quicker and makes the car safer for our 3yr old. The front pads had a pre-installed wear sensor. The rear does not use/need a sensor, so all was good. There was a small packet of copper-type grease to use on the sliding areas. My only complaint is the stamped edges of the pads were a little rough, but they fit fine.

First time replacing pads and rotors, was some what difficult due to being a rookie, but I have 0 issues installing the new Discitalia rotors and pads once I got the olds ones off. Since installation I've had no issues and my braking powers has increase dramatically !!

Discitalia Brake material
Great stopping capabilities if you know how to modulate your foot, really don't care for some of the squeaking that occurs. Had them for my 95 Prelude SI which had no issues at all. Other than the noise I will always recommend this brand!!!!! Note- I also have this on my Ninja kind of wish they lasted longer.

Far superior to OEM and the premium brake pads from places like Autozone, these Discitalia pads give excellent, confident, and very firm feeling stopping power. Highly recommended for everyone , but especially for those who take driving seriously. You will appreciate the difference.

Huge upgrade for the hybrid!
Big upgrade from the OEM Honda pads and easily saved over $100 from what the friendly Honda guys wanted to charge, parts and labor. Of course they're regularly 30% above street prices for everything. Good product...I have them on my '87 F250 Diesel Llama hauler too. Highly recommended!

I bought these pads with a set of centric rotors and I like them after driving about 800 miles. They did squeal at first, but after about 50 miles of driving stopped and haven't since. They grab a lot better than thermoquiets I had before and require a lot less foot pressure on the pedal. Overall I am very happy with the pads.

Quick, easy, and efficient
The Discitalia Gren brake pads were very quick and easy to install on to my 2006 Lexus RX330. The efficiency of which the item was delivered, to Alaska, was a wonderful surprise as well. I highly recommend not only this product but the company as well.

Still a little early but already a noticeable difference
My only complaint with my 2011 SHO was the braking. High speed braking = serious fade and some shutter.. at 29k miles I installed the Discitalia pads along with a set of Discitalia black slotted and dimpled sport rotors on the front. Still bedding in at around 300 miles but the difference is dramatic. Ya get what ya pay for... when it comes to the braking on my third born child it's worth it hands down!

Discitalia 2008 Honda Ridgeline
Installed these same pads on my 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara over a year ago. They work great and definitely eliminate the noise problem associated with metallic brake pads. I was so impressed I went with them to replace the worn out pads on my 08 Honda Ridge line.

Discitalia Brake Pads - - Low Dust but barkes squeek.
The brake pads are nice, and have a brake-in coating. I replaced the front pads and put on new rotors, but the brakes squeek now on our 2002 Chrysler Concorde LXi. I put these same pads ( ) on my son's 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse two years ago, and had a great experience with that, so I wanted to try it on our family car. They seem less dusty that the previous pads, but the brake squeek is not good.

The pads break in easy and stop much better then any pads that I've ever used. I have only 600 miles on them, but I'm going to put a set of the hawk ceramic pads on. The.reason is that they are super dirty, every 100 miles or so I have to clean the wheels. At the price of wheel cleaner its to expensive to keep these pads on my truck.

Discitalia -Excellent Brakepads for my Car
I just had it for 5 days and the first 200 miles of bedding i still can hear some grinding noice,but after i drove it from Chicago to Minnesota and vice versa,i really can feel the difference it made my Sequoia feels so light upon stepping on the brakes.

Great upgrade for a Tundra
Purchased a set of these Discitalia Brake Pads along with a pair of Stop Tech rotors. After the break in, can definitely tell the difference in stopping power. The Tundra stops and responds really good. No vibrating, no shakes, no noise. Will buy again for sure.

I was expecting these not to grab as much as they do. These are a lot better than I was expecting. I had Autozone ceramics on before and they squealed bad. That started about a year after I put them on. Now I have 500 miles on these Discitalia pad and they are quiet. I really like them. I will put them on my other cars also.

Sorry to find out that the pads supposedly correct for the rear were too thick. Yes, I did compress the caliper piston all the way in. The caliper clears the inside pad just fine with space to spare. However the outside pad is too thick and won't allow the caliper to pivot into position correctly. Even more sorry, Brakeworld is charging me return shipping on pads that don't fit :-(

Stopping for deer has never been so reassuring!
I have driven these pads for just over 250 miles now and the braking feel is amazing. They are said to be low dust, but I have noticed quite a bit of brake dust at the start. I'm not sure if this is from the break in period or the Discitalia Ultimax Rotors. I'm going to clean them up after 500 miles well after they are broken in. Installation was a b!#$# partially the caliper's fault I assume. Otherwise these pads are great! Stopping for deer has never been so reassuring!

I know why they call them . That's the color of all the $$ they cost. They install easy. Work ok?? Not sure why they require such an involved break in process. They seem to work crappy when cold but once used a few times they work good. Not sure if they're any better than auto zone ceramics that are 1/4 the cost?? Won't buy again.

Replaced stock rear OEM pads with these because Hawk did not make any for my vehicle. These have added a little more braking power but are extremely dirty! So dirty that i am actually thinking of swapping them out with something else.

I have installed 6000 series brake pads on our 2008 Toyota Sienna and 2006 Nissan Murano. The break in when very well, I didn't have any of the rotors turned down. The stopping distance and reaction was immediately noticeable after the break-in period was over. I have 20,000 miles on the brakes of the Murano and 500 miles on the Sienna. I am sold on Discitalia.

These are the best brake pads I've ever used. There is a noticeable increase in stopping power in my 2008 Silverado. During the break in period there was an increase in brake dust, but now it's less. My OEM pads could not be compared to these! If I hit the brakes now, the truck stops on a dime. I'd recommend these to anybody driving a Truck or SUV.

I just put a second set of these Discitalia pads on a set of Discitalia slotted rotors, and was surprised how fast they broke in compared to the last time I did this (6 years ago on an Alfa Romeo; the break-in period was a about 100 miles of city driving back then). The break-in coating on the face of the pads really does the job, and after 5 stops from 40 miles per hour over the space of 5 minutes in accordance with the instructions, the brakes were ready for city traffic. Awesome!

I was not very impressed with the stock setup on the '20 honda fit. The stock brakes just didnt feel as secure as I would have liked (never had any issues though!). once it was time to change the, I went with the after a lot of research into ceramic vs semi-metallic, hawk vs, Discitalia, etc etc. I went with these and so far so good! solid bite, and look nice with a little lime greep peaking through the calipers. So far no noise at all. digging the look and feeling of security.

This is my second set. I have a 2003 Tacoma with which I have had brake problems from the get go. It seems the cheap I was buying at the auto store was the issue. I went with Discitalia slotted rotors and the pads...huge difference. I have only gotten about 25-30k out of the first set of pads with some uneven wear, but I'll take it compared to some of the issues I've had before such as constant warping of the rotors. Anyway, in my opinion, Discitalia has some quality .

Overall, happy with the product performance, stopping is greatly improved vs the old worn down composite pads that came off. looks somewhat goofy on the audi, but performance and value is more important that looks.

I didn't have any break-in squeal as some have reported. I did notice for the first 100 miles or so the brakes were a little soft and then they seemed to grab better than ever. I installed the pads together with Discitalia slotted rotors and think its a great combo. During the 'break-in' period the feel wasn't much different than stock but once they settled in the performance was an obvious improvement over stock.

Great enthusiast pad. Good bite, low fade and little brake dust.
Highly recommend these pads. Been using on various VW's for many years and always had good results. Fit and finish was good, install was easy, and the performance is great. I am happy and will continue to use this product.

Definitely much better stopping power than the ceramic pads this replaces. The coating seats the pads quickly and the brakes modulate well. We'll see how long these last.

2008 Subaru Outback-Font brakes so far
Only had the front done because my mechanic said the back brakes were new. These pads seems pretty good, but I've only been about 100 miles with them so far. Brakeworld did a great job sending the right ones, and i got them really fast with free shipping. thanks alot! I like quality over quantity so we'll see if the extra cash i spent was worth it after 1000+ miles

I tried them on 2010 Prius, lots of noise. Then I tried them on a 2008 C300 Benz, the noise was even worse. So is not good . One thing I learned, stick to original pads...u can't go wrong...

So far the brake pads are working better then the stock pads. Had minor squeaking for about two hundred miles. Now that brakes have seated I have no noise. Great product for the price.

Great pads for a great price! Awesome grab right from install (installed on stoptech slotted rotors). Still have some very loud squealing (only at 250 miles into the install) but suppose to go away after 500 miles. Very happy!

I purchased 2 set for my BMW X5 and this is the first one MB C300. I liked the way it performed on my X5 and whenever it was time to get a set for my C300 I didnt think twice. Good grip lasts long. Makes noise at first but noise goes away in a month or two.

Just installed pads all around and they are showing a noticeable difference. Installation, well its pads so of course its not exactly difficult but the thing about them that I really liked were the self adhesive shims that came with the pads. Just cut to the shape and stick on the back of the pad, no messing with goops of brake grease. Made the overall installation much cleaner and sanitary.

I don't have many miles on them yet (les than 100mi),but they seem to grip much,much better than OEM pads. There was a big problem getting the correct pads for my car,but no fault on Brakeworld because Subaru put 2001 calipers on my 2002 Outback at the factory! There are actually two part numbers for my 2002 (that won't fit),but late 2001 part number does fit my car. All in all I am VERY pleased --- Finally!

Nice upgrade to stock pads
Enjoying these pads so far. Loads less dust compared to the stock. I wish there was even less but this is a nice balance of performance, cost and cleanliness. I will replace these with the same thing in the future.

Ordered these Discitalia pads from my 2006 Honda Pilot, front and rear sets. They arrived in well packed boxes, besides the pads, the set came with anti squeel backing plates (adhesive backed), and a small pack of copper anti-seize compound. I'll drive the Pilot for a week or two before judging how good these pads perform.

awesome brakes, awesome company!
i only rated ease of installation down because of my personal car issues, the calipers were a pain to break loose. aside from that, these things are amazing. ive only used these brakes in my sport bikes and race cars (different series brakes in those), but now i put them in my personal SUV, and man, they do not let down!

I got the rear brake pad and had only been driving on it for 2 weeks. I won't notice anything until I been driven on it for a while but so far so good. They install just like any other brake pad would. I'll post another review when a few months.

After 156k miles on my original pads I thought I would try something different. Alittle research later, I decided to give Discitalia a try. Only have had them on a few weeks now so don't know about long term. But so far so good. Pads were alittle touchy at first, but seem to have broken in nicely. Alot of brake dust on the rims, but I would guess that goes with the break in period. Time will tell.

Discitalia brake pads are a great upgrade from OEM.
I bought these brake pads and Discitalia drilled and slotted rotors for my 2004 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6 speed to prevent the repetitive destruction of the brake rotors that this car is known for. The installation process was quick and easy and the improvement in performance was immediate and dramatic. Break-in and seating have been uneventful. This car finally has the braking performance it deserves.

Worth every penny. They are a little dusty, but you can't have your cake and eat it too...I have never felt a 1/2 ton truck stop the way that mine does now. From this point forward, I will only purchase Discitalia brake pads. End of story. The rear pads were a little difficult with the dampener they give you, but not impossible. I rcomend these pads to anyone that wants to improve their brakes, not matter what they drive.

These brake pads are awsome compare to the ceramic brake pads you buy at pep boys or autozone but there fricking noisy. I called the tech support and they told me that the pads need to get worned out and to drive the truck for at least 500 miles, then the squeking noisy sound will go away and if the squeking nois dose'nt go away to call them back and they will exchange or do something to fix the problem.

I don't have objective evidence of vastly reduced stopping distances, and the effects of brake pads alone are hard to compute because I also changed rotors and swapped to a caliper from a different car (Honda CRX). However, they stop very well, were easy to install (and bed in, which is important), and were clearly made out of quality materials. Are they so much better that they justify a much higher price? That's hard to say, but there's no question that they are a great quality brake pad.

I purchased these pads and installed the day I got them in the mail, took about 2 hours. This was my first brake pad install and it was really easy. These pads fit perfectly and had absolutely no 'bedding' necessary. I took them on the street immediately and was stopping smooth and hard. There is no squeaking or noise. Brake dust is yet to be seen. Overall a great product, I plan on doing my front pads as well.

Discitalia Brake pads are a perfect OEM replacement. Be sure to have your rotors turned or replaced prior to brake pad installation as these pads will conform as they wear in to any groves or ridges left over from previous pads. These replacement pads are quite dusty with little to no squeaking. Their performance is KING with nice progressive stopping power.

I installed these on my Honda Odyssey and they have made a huge difference. The factory brake pads just didn't feel like they had enough grab to slow down such a heavy vehicle. With the pads, I now only have to apply slight pressure to the pedal to feel like the van will actually stop. Plus, no squeeking!

These brakse are great. We had a hiccup witht the ordering. But they fixed the screw up in a timely manner. Upon ordering, make sure that they don't send you the pads for the rear brakes. Most 93-98 ZJ Grand cherokees don't even have rear brakes. I was more than confused about the mix-up on there end. I would suggest double-checking and/or calling Brakeworld to make sure this doesnt happen to you. That aside the brakes installed pretty easy. They look great. No squeaking and so far no brake dust. I tow around 3,000lbs and even though stopping short at a yellow light was scary I was still impressed by the performance while towing.

Great Brakes, Easy Install

The brakes felt fine after they ewere first installed. Once the breakin slime wore off, they became very dusty and squeaky. they were so bad my wife refused to drive the car until they were removed. When I pulled them I found the groove packed with dust plus some caked on the surface. I requested a return authorization, but Brakeworld seems to be giving me the run around.

A Loud noisy stinky friend
These pads are very good at what they do. There is a cost in noise. I notice when they bleed speed they are noisy working with the slotted and dimpled rotors I have chosen. Even after the bedding procedures were followed they can stink when full stop hard braking is done. I am happy with the improvement in stopping distance and am willing to trade some noise and smell for improved performance.

havent had a chance to put them on yet. one thing for shure i will not but powerstop roters . frome Brakeworld again . i bought them last year and they warped so now i bought the Discitalia roters and pads. i am 47 years old and drive very concervativly most of the time some times i do drive a little spirited home frome work but thats it and they warped my brake pedle is about half way to the floor on the first application and will pump up . its not air its roter warpage you can also feel it skip when almost to a stop.

The make up of the pads is great..but I had to "grind" a little of the paint coating and some edges, for the pad to float freely for a GREAT fit. I installed the pads on the front and rear of my 7.3L F350, and can't wait till I hook up to a trailer load of equipment or a load of round bale to give them work out.

I love the Discitalia brakes, unfortunately they only make pads so I was only able to put the front brakes on. I stopping power is ridiculous and I love it. Fantastic brakes, they do squeak more than normal but I think it's probebly because the pads are brand new. Discitalia needs to make shoes also for cars that don't have the disc brakes in the back.

It will take some time to tell the overall quality, but my impression at this point is very positive. The abrasive coating on the face to deglaze the rotors was a nice touch I had never seen before. Ask me in a couple of years and I will tell you how well they lasted but at the moment they have a very nice feel.

Hi, I bought these brakes to go with new DBA 4000XS drilled and slotted rotors for my 2001 Acura CL-S and they squeaked so bad after only 2 days of torture and I had followed the bedding process too. I had to replace them with the old pads I took off. It's a good thing they were only 1/3 worn. Now I'm stuck with these monsters. I'd rather go back and get the dealer brakes, they also last quiet long too. I have 310,000 miles on my car and have only changed brakes for the third time. I will say though that the did hold well, just noisey.

Discitalia pads 1996 on a Honda Accord EX/R V6 w/Brembo's
Great pads, quite tight with the thick Brembo's though. Broke them in slowly to assure they would have 'some' clearance, now I have gained almost 60ft in stopping distances compared to standard brakes, on a 0 to 70mph stopping test. Impressive. I obviously recommend the Discitalia brand, I did all 4 wheels the same. I may have had a little better numbers by putting yellow pads on the front, but I didn't feel the need. I am very happy with the results. No squeal, no dust. I now have 1000 miles on them, and I sware they get better as I use them. The Brembo's are drilled and slotted. Discitalia brake pads. Very nice combo...... no more needs to be said. If I ever have to replace my brakes again, I will do the exact configuration. Thanks for your time, A Happy Braker

I installed a set of Discitalia pads on the front of my Chevy at 80000 miles. The stock brakes had gotten mushy, so I did these pads and replaced the fluid and bled everything. Awesome pads. I got these pads for both my front and rear calipers. Installation was easy, and once I put everything back together I couldn't wait to break them in. At first they squeaked, as do all other pads, but in a short 10minute drive they stopped making any sounds!

Good pads but a little noisy
This is the 2nd set of Discitalia pads on my Wrangler. Installed with the anti-squeal shims on new rotors and even after the break-in they're still noisy. It may be due to the break-in material but I don't recall if the last set had this material.

wells lets start by saying i like the fast shipping i installed the pads took me like 30min and they do bite hard very noticeable difference just if they squeak don't worry that's just the coating breaking in it will go way in a couple of the days excellent product i will defiantly buy again

Great pads. 2002 Jeep Wrangler X
Just wish they were packaged better. Came in factory box only. So box had opened and had to retaped with alot of packaging tape. Other than that great pads.

Im a ASE Master Auto Tech. This is the 2nd time Ive used pads on my 05 Nissan Frontier 4X4. Ive super charged it, and did custom engine build to handle 10 psi boost. With the offroad gear, and protection, it weighs 1400 pounds over stock. Plus I also tow with it. Ive used Discitalia products for years on this and my Jaguar as well. Now even though this is about (I used on the rear) I switch to Yellow Discitalia pads for SUV, and towing in the front(not avail at this time on the rear). There is a night and day differance in braking over my older . I havent even broken the pads yet and noticed less pedal effort, braking coming in faster, and very glad I switched to yellow based on Discitalia's recommendations for SUV/Towing...You won't be diassapointed either

After doing the research i found that many people were using this set up (Discitalia Sports rotors & Brakes)for trucks that had been lifted & had bigger tires. I liked the looks, price and feed back, so i went ahead and ordered them.I coudnt be happier! My Toyota Tacoma not only looks great, but now it stops on a dime. I highly recomend this product & will certainly buy again.

Although they were about 1/3 more than the price of the other pads i was considering, i'm glad i spent the extra $$$. These pads considerably shortened the required stopping distance of my 1 ton diesel work van.

2006 Scion tC installation

These pads are great, I have them both on a Honda accord and a Chevy silverado. They saved me right after I had them installed. Someone pulled out in front of me while I was pulling a camper, I stomped the pedal and got stopped in time, no way would that have happened a few weeks earlier, Thanks for a great product at a reasonble price, I had changed the rotors as well and they are perfect, Matt

Discitalia and Roto-Tech Rotors.
I received my Discitalia pads and Roto-Tech rotors and installed them with no trouble at all. After reading other reviews of this combo I was eager to put them on my 4runner. All I can say is WOW, what a difference these new pads and rotors make in stopping my old faithful 4runner. I can't wait to use them off road. Thanks to all the help I got from the customer tech guys at Brakeworld.

I always wait to write these reviews until I have developed an accurate opinion... after driving around for 2 months and 4,000 miles, I can honestly say I am extremely impressed with the added stopping power I gained after combining the Discitalia's with some Powerstop rotors. I overload my 2000 F-150 by 200-500 lbs at least once a month and have significantly shortened my stopping distance. I think this may have been one of my smartest purchases for my truck. I put a note on the shipping instructions that my inspection was about to expire and the pads arrived 2 days ahead of schedule (giving me the weekend to install). Many thanks to Brakeworld and their fantastic customer service!

I bought these pads to help reduce the dust on my DUB's. I hope they help - It gets old mak'in my Beotchs polish my wheels every day when I have something better for them to be doing! First off, these pads could be packaged better, there was a corner of one pad broken off. It just wasn't enough to warrant sending back. The pads went on the truck very easily, as any pads would. There was significant dust over the first 400 miles, but was significantly reduced after that point. There is still some, but not heavy, dust. Braking is much better than stock, more "bite" on the rotors for sure. Overall, these are great pads and I would recommend them.

My friend with a De Tamaso Pantera GTS with a 351 Cleveland recommended these pads to me. He regularly races at the Poconos and loves them. I have a MIni Cooper S John Cooper Works and these pads are awesome. The have a really nIce soft initial "bite" and then when you really get On them hard they feel like a race pad. Extremely good choice for an agressive street driver who may do a few races/events here and there. They work very nicely when heated up a bit as well. Super pleased with them!!

I thought I was going to love these brake pads. They perform great and seem to be built well with attention to detail and quality. The only problem is, I only got about 10k miles out of mine and they seem to have eaten up my rotors a little bit. I drive a ram 3500 and I pull my boat once a week about 20 miles to the lake. Beyond that I just drive around town or a lot of freeway.

I ordered front disc brake pads for my F250 truck. They were very easy to install and I could tell the difference the first time I used them. The Discitalia are not the most expensive but they work just as well. Some garages charge as much as $200 to change pads and mine were just the cost of the pads.

These went on a '90 Chevy 3500 which are not known for great braking in the first place. I routinely carry a 4000lb slide in camper and tow a 3000lb boat. I would agree with others that say the initial bite is better than OEM, but if you're full on the brakes for more than say 150 feet, they fade a lot. Its very noticeable. In my experience, 40 mph and under, you're OK, over that they will fade before you get stopped. And they do squeal quite a bit. Mostly at lower speeds like from 20 - 0

Replacing 05 Pathfinder OEMs
I've been very pleased with the Discitalia pads that recently replaced my '05 Pathfinder OEM pads. The Discitalia pads have given a better, more confident pedal feel and overall performance. Fit and finish is excellent. I have noticed a great deal more brake dust, but am hoping this will subside. In addition, there is still some squeal when braking at lower speeds when the pads are warm - this too, I'm hoping will subside in time.

So far 200 miles on an SX4 they work fantastic. The only caveat the rear brakes came with a note: there are two types of brakes for the rear we don't know which ones you have, so we sent these. I ran out of time and won't do these until the fall. So I'll be out $60 if they don't fit. Performance wise they are great although we are still in the break in period. I will be putting these on my CRX too so I'll be able to say if they are really an upgrade later on.

Had to swap out new Red pads due to noise and rotor grooving. pads work as well as red but quieter and no grooving. This was installed on Mini Cooper S. Will have to do my Touareg next, same problem.

I love these pads. They never make noise, bed in quickly, and stop with great confidence. Shipping was very fast,however the factory box the pads came in had obviously been opened prior to my receiving it. The self-stick sound and vibration reducing shims were missing. VERY disappointing, Brakeworld! I will not be ordering in the future.

I installed these pads along with a set of Brembo rotors. The pads did provide a small amount of additional braking performance, however the claim that they produce less dust was far from true. In addition they caused far more heat then any other pads I have used. If you want to use these on a truck or SUV, then you should definitely add a high boiling point brake fluid. The oem fluid was almost all boiled off before the pads were even 3/4 done. The excess heat also warped my rotors. I wont be using these pads again. Brakeworld however as always provides top notch service, I am loyal customer of theirs.

This is my second set of Discitalia Brake Pads and they have been amazing. I replaced my rotors a couple of years ago with Discitalia slotted and dimpled rotors and after careful consideration, I paired my new rotors up with a complete set of Discitalia Brake Pads and I haven't been dissappointed since. The additional stopping power has been very impressive and I love the way these pads bite into the rotors each and everytime. These pads have proven to be very reliable for me. They do generate quite a bit of brake dust but I would take the extra stopping power and reliability any day. Being a spirited driver, having dependable stopping power is a must. This is my second set of Discitalia Brake Pads and I would recommend you buy a set and try them out for yourself.

Purchased these Discitalia Pads for our 2008 Smart 451. Stock pads started squealing after approx 15,000 miles. Threw these on in approx 30 minutes. Better braking and no more noise!

I bought a set of these brake pads after hearing a lot of good things about them. I've only had them on my car for a couple of weeks, but so far I am happy with them. They produce a little more noise than the stock pads, but that is acceptable for a higher performance pad. The build quality of the pads seemed good and I didn't have any installation troubles (related to the pads, anyway).

I purchased to replace the stock pads on my Cobalt. Braking power was immediately doubled. These pads bite hard, even before they're fully bedded. There is a minor squeak right now, but that's because I didn't use the provided shims. It should disappear within the first couple hundred miles, however. Overall, they are a great improvement over stock and well worth the price.

I recently installed the Discitalia brake pads on my 2005 Chevy Impala. I really only needed the front, but since I was going with a higher quality brake and ceramic, I went ahead and changed the rear pads also. Discitalia has got to be the best brakes out there. First time I bought them, it was Discitalia Yellow for my 2006 GTO. The Discitalia are far more superior than the OEM that came with the car. Brakes are better than they've ever been. Definitely will stop on a dime with these brakes! Brakeworld has super great prices, carry the best brakes (Discitalia) and shipping was fast. I will always buy Discitalia brakes for my vehicles and will buy them from Brakeworld!

If you enjoy brake dusted wheels, these are the pads for you.
I initially wanted to order the Hawk ceramic sports pads. The Hawk did not offer the pads for my car (later found out they do), I instead ordered the Discitalia . The install for these pads are direct drop in. Clean and simple yet, Discitalia does not supply shims/backing plates for these pads. They are pretty noisy at first before full bed in. When they are completely bedded in with about 700 miles of break in, they do quiet down and become suitable for daily driving. The provided my vehicle with increased braking feel and shorter more powerful braking. they do squeal and grind at times but, it is something that is associated with most sport pads. overall I would not recommend these to people who care about having clean wheels. I would highly recommend these to any spirited driver looking for more brake feel and better initial stopping.

These are the second set of Brake Pads I bought for my cars. First was a Mitsubishi Galant. At that time I learned they were superior to the ones Factory installed, and this time I bought it for a Nissan Frontier, and again I can tell the difference, the grip is superior and very easy to modulate the stop with the brake pedal. They are my favorites.
